the "Massif de l'Oisans", we offer you a choice
of different mountaineering circuits, guided or not, with the
help of our donkeys. Docile and conniving, they are the perfect
friends for children and adults.

between la Vallee des Arvesand la Vallee d'Or: experimented walkers,
alternation gites and refuges, 7 to 8 day trip.
- The tour of Massif des
Grandes Rousses: experienced walkers, 8 to 9 day trip,
night under tent.

LE PLATEAU
DES ALBIEZ
This 2-day trip is ideal
for those who want to discover mountaineering with donkeys. The
proposed itinerary will allow you to discover small picturesque
and typical villages from the Savoy area. Between high mountains
pastures and pines forest, those 2 days will offer you multiple
views.
Two options to choose from:
Le pied des majestueuses Aiguilles d'Arves or Le sentier des
legendes in Albiez
In the evenings you will
stay in "maisons d'Hotes".
Allow between 3 and 5 hours walk per day. Feasible for children
from 3 years old.

with, in its garden, a friendly companion that will please your
children.
We put at your disposal all the material for the donkey(s) and
you can enjoy, with the entire family, walks at your rhythm,
when you want it, where you want it
Your children will enjoy
this unusual friend, eager for cuddles. Fanfaron, Kiwette, Evinrude
and all the others are waiting for you to pamper them

D'ARVES
Origin to numerous legends,
"les Aiguilles d'Arves" is the emblem of our valley.
This itinerary is ideal for those who like to admire sunset.
This 2 to 3 day trip will keep you away from civilisation. High
up there, you will soothe by cow's bells and, maybe, if you get
up early, some chamois 3 idyllic days, for sure
Recommended for children from 5 years old. About 5 and _ hours

ESCAPADE AU CHALET D'ALPAGE
DE "LA BARME"
High in the mountain, Manu's
chalet is waiting for you to fully enjoy those unforgatable and
friendly moments.
Evening in front of the fire, sleeping in straw, far far away
from civilisation. : unique moments, that's for sure, thanks
to Manu's special warm welcome!
Once in the chalet, everybody will be able to go at ease. Go
and discover those surrounding summits, go to Valfroide's Waterfall
or enjoy the exhibition in the chalet if you just want to take
it easy.

BALLADE BETWEEN LES
ARVES ET LE MASSIF DE L'OISANS
A family hike in the heart
of wild and preserved nature, offering possibility of stay in
gite and bivouac.
This trip is accessible to children from 7 or 8 years old. It
will show you many aspects of unspoiled sceneries, far from the
tracks.

ON THE COLPORTEUR'S
ROAD, BETWEEN LA VALLEE DES ARVESAND LA VALLEE D'OR
A beautiful hike on the
old hawker's tracks. This itinerary will allow you to go thru
contrasted landscape. Between green pastures looking over Besse
en Oisans and the lunar landscapes of the Lake Noir and Lake
Lerie.

THE TOUR OF MASSIF DES
GRANDES ROUSSES
This beautiful hike is
for experienced walkers. It will bring you to fantastic sites,
with impressive views on "la Meije".
As well as the main itinerary,
you can also find in this trip several short walks for early
birds..
Allow 6 to 7 hours walk
per day. Recommended for children from 8 years old, used to mountaineering.
You leave with you tent,
even though different refuges can be found on way. You can also,
if you want, spend a night near the Lake Noir, idyllic site and
amazing landscape.
Rates: Donkey: euros 360
for 8 days , euros 380 for 9 days
Extra donkey: euros 180 for 8 days , euros 190 for 9 days

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF
SALE
Rates include:
- Rent of a donkey (or
more) with it's full equipment (bags, mat)
- Insurance for civil responsibility (for damaged caused by donkeys)
- Welcome and preparation of your itinerary (care to donkey,
itinerary)
You must be equipped with
IGN Top 25 map of the area of the itinerary chosen. Those maps
are to be purchased by you.
Reservation:
- The reservation is effective
from reception of deposit: 30% of full amount (donkeys rental
and accommodation when needed).
Cancellation:
- We are allowed to modify
itineraries or cancel trips for force majeur. In that case, partial
or full refund would apply.
- If for some reason you decided to shorten your trip, no refund
would take place (except medical reason)
- Bad weather or forecast do not give right to any refund
If you decide to cancel
your stay:
- More than 30 days before
the beginning of your trip: all registering fees are due (10%
of the donkeys rental)
- More than 15 days before the beginning of your trip: deposit
is due to be paid in full
- Less than 15 days before the beginning of your trip: total
amount is due.
For cancelling conditions
on accommodation, please see directly with host.
Responsibility:
- In no case are we to
be held responsible for accidents happening during your hike.
Even though itineraries are well checked in advance, Mother Nature
might impose some changes in the course.
- Donkeys are under your responsibility during the full trip.
Please look after them. In case of bad treatment, we are in right
to cancel any trip without any refund.
Mountaineering guides
can supervise all the itineraries. They would be delighted to
show you all the different aspects of our beautiful area.
GUIDED HIKES
Old stones, observation
of the wildlife, tasting of plants. So many fascinating subjects
to share with a mountaineering guide.
Your guide would also look after the logistic and would help
you with donkeys for the difficult passage.
Rates:
1 mountaineering guide and 3 donkeys: euros 290 for group of
12 to 15 persons maximum.
Accommodation in gite and food are extras. Program can be done
on demand.
DAILY OUTINGS FOR CHILDREN
We are also able to offer
some daily hikes for children between 6 and 12 years old. Those
outings are accompanied donkeys and trip to visit to farm workshops
are organised.

2 hours drive from Lyon by motorway (A43) (exit St Jean de Maurienne,
then take direction Vallee de l'Arvan/ Col de la Croix de Fer-D926).
Train station SNCF in St Jean de Maurienne 18 Km away as well
as shuttles.
St Jean d'Arves is surrounded
by high summits like the famous "aiguilles d'Arves"
or "glacier de l'Etendard" and you can also find over
450 Km of well sign posted paths.
